Our Story

IDEA
A story of passion for ceramics
Driven by a passion to create meaningful products, Pulvis Art Urns unites a collective of talented artists, ceramists, and sculptors who share a vision for redefining the concept of memorial art.
Together, they design and craft urns that transcend traditional expectations, blending timeless artistry with profound emotional resonance. Each piece is carefully handcrafted to reflect individuality, offering a unique and deeply personal way to honor loved ones.
By merging creativity with technical mastery, Pulvis Art Urns transforms a functional object into a meaningful work of art that provides comfort, beauty, and lasting memories.

2016
The beginning of the adventure
In 2016, three visionaries—Mihail, Aleksandar, and Denis—set out to redefine the way we memorialize those we love. Driven by the belief that a cremation urn should be more than just a vessel, they imagined a collection of memorial products that embody the soul of fine art.
This idea sparked the creation of Pulvis Art Urns, a brand committed to craftsmanship, innovation, and emotional expression. After months of intensive research into the global funeral and memorial market, the trio discovered a gap between traditional urn designs and what grieving families were truly looking for—something meaningful, beautiful, and lasting.
With backgrounds in design, engineering, and the arts, they spent over a year experimenting with ceramic clays, custom glazes, and symbolic forms.

2017
Forms inspired by art
In 2017, Pulvis Art Urns unveiled its inaugural collection of handmade cremation urns, marking a bold departure from traditional memorial design. Drawing deep inspiration from fine art, sculpture, and spiritual symbolism, the first pieces were created not just as urns—but as meaningful works of memorial art.
Among the first iconic models were "The Christ" and "The Holy Mother"—two deeply symbolic religious urns that reflected the brand’s commitment to spiritual depth and emotional resonance. These were soon followed by the now-celebrated "Wings" urn, later featured in Netflix’s Sex Education, and "The Passage", which became a flagship design known for its tealight candle holder and sculptural presence.

2018
Recognition
The years 2018 and 2019 marked a pivotal chapter in the evolution of Pulvis Art Urns. This period was defined by intense creative output, product innovation, and growing international visibility. As the brand pushed the boundaries of traditional memorial design, it began to gain attention on the world stage.
Pulvis Art Urns proudly participated in prestigious international funeral and design trade shows, where it showcased its handcrafted cremation urns to a global audience of industry professionals, artists, and funeral care providers. These events served as a platform to present the company’s unique vision—merging ceramic art, symbolism, and spiritual reflection into contemporary urn design.

2019
Expanding Horizons Through Global Partnerships
In 2019, Pulvis Art Urns took a major step forward by forming strategic partnerships with some of the largest funeral distributors in the USA and Europe. These collaborations marked a turning point in the company’s growth, allowing Pulvis to expand into new markets and bring its handcrafted cremation urns to a wider global audience.
This expansion introduced customers around the world to Pulvis’s unique portfolio of artistic and innovative memorial urns, including ceramic, wood, bronze, and keepsake models. With growing demand for design-forward, emotionally resonant urns, Pulvis solidified its position as a leading brand in the modern funeral industry.
These partnerships were not only about distribution—they represented a shared vision to transform how we honor and remember loved ones, placing art, sustainability, and soul at the center of memorialization.

2020
Pursuit of Innovation
In 2020, Pulvis Art Urns continued its unwavering commitment to artistic innovation and emotional storytelling through form. Advancements in ceramic modeling and firing techniques enabled the creation of new urn designs that demonstrated exceptional mastery in sculptural craftsmanship and surface treatment.
This creative momentum gave rise to distinctive new collections such as the Light Urn, Guardian Angel Urn, and Stone Memorial Urn. Each design embraced abstract, symbolic, and nature-inspired forms, offering families a modern, emotionally rich alternative to traditional memorials. These urns resonated deeply with individuals seeking contemporary cremation urns that not only preserve ashes but also serve as expressive, meaningful works of memorial art.

2021
Global Growth and Technological Innovation
In the years following its initial success, Pulvis Art Urns continued its journey of global expansion and product innovation. A major milestone was reached with the brand’s entry into the Australian market, partnering with some of the continent’s largest and most trusted funeral distributors. This strategic move allowed Pulvis to introduce its handcrafted ceramic and artistic urns to a growing community of families and professionals seeking premium, meaningful memorial products.
In parallel with its geographic growth, Pulvis pioneered a breakthrough in cremation urn design—the revolutionary INNER COATING technology. This innovation eliminates the need for a separate bag for ashes by incorporating a protective, sealed interior layer directly inside the urn. The result: a cleaner, more secure, and more refined solution for ash containment, aligned with Pulvis's dedication to aesthetic excellence and user-friendly functionality.

2022
Honoring Pets with Artistic Elegance
In 2022, Pulvis Art Urns took a heartfelt step forward by launching its first full collection of handcrafted pet urns, extending its artistic vision to honor the lives of beloved animal companions. Designed with the same artistic integrity, technical precision, and emotional depth as its renowned human urns, this new collection redefined the standard for pet memorial products.
The collection features dedicated ceramic urns for cats and dogs, blending sculptural beauty with functional design. From minimal forms to symbolic motifs, each pet cremation urn was handcrafted in Europe and double-fired at 1200°C to ensure lasting strength and visual appeal. Available in multiple glazes and sizes, these urns transform traditional pet memorials into true works of art, celebrating the enduring bond between pets and their owners.

2023
Artistic Collaborations and Material Innovation
In 2023, Pulvis Art Urns reached new creative heights through a series of remarkable collaborations with renowned artists and designers from around the world. These partnerships gave birth to an exclusive collection of hand-decorated cremation urns, each one meticulously adorned with intricate patterns, textures, and finishes—a true celebration of artistic individuality and craftsmanship.
This period also saw the introduction of groundbreaking materials and product lines, including the launch of:
- The world’s first carbon fiber urns

Each piece in the 2023 collection reflects a seamless fusion of contemporary design, traditional craftsmanship, and technical precision, offering families around the world an even broader choice of unique, meaningful memorials. With this expansion, Pulvis reaffirmed its position as a global innovator in the funeral industry, leading the way with products that honor life through art, quality, and soul.

Because remembrance deserves art.
Created as Art – To Be Seen, To Be Cherished
We craft urns that people want to keep in their homes—not hide away. Inspired by sculpture, architecture, and symbolism, our urns are made to feel like fine art. Something personal. Something eternal. Whether placed on a mantle, in a garden, or a sacred space, each urn becomes part of a family’s story.
Quiet and Unobtrusive – A Presence, Not a Statement
Our designs are intentionally subtle and unobtrusive, often mistaken for modern decor or sculpture rather than traditional urns. This is exactly what many families seek—a discreet yet elegant reminder of their loved one, one that offers peace rather than pain.
Contemporary and Timeless – Designed for Every Space
With a broad selection of shapes, forms, and hand-applied glazes, our urns complement a wide range of interiors. From minimalist to ornate, from spiritual to abstract, we offer families a way to remember that feels natural in their own space—a design that fits their life, not just their loss.

Soulmates Never Leave!
At Pulvis Art Urns, our love for animals is woven into everything we do. Many of us are proud pet parents ourselves, which is why we believe that pets deserve to be remembered with the same care, beauty, and dignity as any member of the family.
Our handcrafted pet urns for cats and dogs are more than just containers—they are heartfelt tributes, designed to reflect the unbreakable bond between humans and their companions. From gentle curves to expressive forms, each piece is created with empathy and artistic sensitivity, honoring the joy, comfort, and unconditional love pets bring into our lives.
